Delivery Services
We’re committed to offering great value for money on orders of any size which it why our delivery starts from only £3.99! We currently ship within the United Kingdom using the following couriers;
Royal Mail
Service
48 hours tracked- small parcels between 0kg-5kg are sent with tracking and are delivered within 2 working days of dispatch.
*Large parcels usually require a signature upon delivery however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, delivery drivers will sign on the customers behalf.
*Occasionally couriers will split parcels due to space restriction and so your order may come in multiple parcels. If your complete order doesn’t arrive on the same day, please allow the couriers at least 2 working days to delivery outstanding parcels before contacting us.
APC Overnight
Our courier of choice for next day delivery. Once dispatched, tracking details will be sent via email. When your order is out for delivery, you will get a 2 hour delivery window with the ability to track your drivers location. All parcels have a fixed rate of £5.99.
This list is not exhaustive, and from time to time we may need to change the service used in order to send your goods effectively. If you require a specific service to be used that isn’t listed on the basket when you order, please contact us by emailing support@americancandyco.co.uk
Please note the current cut of time for guaranteed next day delivery is 3PM in order to allow us enough time to process your order and dispatch. Any orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day. Our current next day delivery option includes deliveries on a Saturday, deliveries on Sunday are not available. Orders placed on a Friday past the cut off time will be dispatched on Monday.
Timescales
Delivery timescales include working days only. Weekends and holidays are not included. International shipments may be affected by the weekend and holiday days in any or all of the counties involved. Adverse weather may also affect timescales. Our estimated delivery dates only take into account UK holidays at present.
Posting Days
We get daily courier collections and aim to get all orders out as soon as possible. Normally your order will be dispatched within 48 hours of ordering however, due to surge in demand for our products it can take us up to 3 working days to dispatch your order. If you require your order urgently, please leave a message in the notes section at checkout and we will try our utmost to fulfil this.
Incorrect address
If you provide us with an incorrect address or incomplete address, then we cannot be liable for undelivered or mid-delivered packages. If your package is returned to us then will be able to refund for the cost of the goods, but not for the cost of delivery.
Parcels left in a safe place
With some delivery services, you may specify that a parcel can be left in a safe place. If you choose to do this, the package will be left entirely at your own risk. Once the courier had confirmed they have left the package in a specified place, it is considered delivered and no claim for non-delivery can be made.
